Handle
with Care: Girls in the Juvenile Justice System

Over the
past decade, scientists have uncovered some of what make adolescents
different from adults, and what makes girls different from boys.
In light of this new knowledge, practices need to be adjusted
that provide programming tailored to meet the specific needs of
girls in the juvenile justice system, rather than simply subject
girls to the programming developed for and more suited for boys.
