Support Us

There are several different ways to support WCCF: donating, becoming a member and volunteering. We invite you to consider how you can support the work we do to ensure that every child grows up in a just and nurturing family and community. Thank you for your past-and continued-support!

Donate
Donations are critical to support WCCF’s work. Our small but effective staff makes the most efficient use possible of our grant revenue. However, donations give us the ability to work on policy areas affecting children that our grant revenue will not cover. Annual donations of all levels are always welcome and help us address expenses in the current budget year. Donations to the WCCF Foundation help us secure the security of WCCF’s long-term health and vitality and offer donors numerous options for giving, including cash, property or planned giving. We invite you to consider both options and make a donation that reflects your ability and the value you place on the health, safety, economic security and education for every child in Wisconsin.

Support WCCF and Community Shares of Wisconsin through Workplace Giving. WCCF is a proud member of Community Shares of Wisconsin (CSW), the oldest social action fund in the country. CSW supports Wisconsin organizations that advocate, educate and seek progressive solutions to problems and issues in our state. This year, more than ever, we need your help. A simple and convenient way to make a contribution is through a payroll deduction to CSW at your workplace. You can designate that 100% or part of any CSW donation be directed to WCCF. Get our latest publications hot off the press and discounts on WCCF conferences too!  Our subscription service offers a unique way to support WCCF as well as stay informed on issues concerning children and families in Wisconsin.  The cost of the service is $150 per year. For that low price, WCCF will mail to your home or office copies of all of our printed reports, policy briefs and papers.

Volunteer
WCCF and its board of directors invite individuals with diverse backgrounds and abilities to participate in one of several standing committees that are a part of the WCCF Board of Directors. Those committees include the finance committee, membership committee and the fund development committee. Individuals who are interested in being considered for nomination to one of these committees may contact Jim Moeser at jmoeser@wccf.org

WCCF also hires student interns when those interns are pursuing a course of study in a post-secondary institution that has relevance to the work of WCCF. Internships are typically unpaid and last for an academic year, a semester or for the summer.
