A Step Forward for Child Care

On Jan. 22, Gov. Doyle unveiled his proposal for creation of a child care quality rating and improvement system for Wisconsin. While the details of his proposal have not all been revealed, WCCF has long supported implementation of such a system, and is excited about the prospect of it coming to pass in the near future. Taking a Closer Look at the House and Senate Health Care Reform Bills

In this piece, Jon explores similarities and differences between the two health care reform bills developed by the houses of Congress. While the outcome of the Senate election in Massachusetts changed the politics of the push for health care reform, it is important to understand the work done by Congress to date in order to best follow the action on a compromise that will take place in 2010.
