JWY – Opportunities to Get Involved

The Justice for Wisconsin Youth project (JWY) seeks to mobilize people who care about fair treatment of juveniles in the justice system.  By joining forces with families, youth and community partners, we can send a clear message to lawmakers:

Juveniles are not adults and should not be treated like adults.

Sign up for JWY and we will keep you informed on developments at the state capitol, along with ideas of how you can involved, including:

Contacting your legislators

Hosting information sessions in your local community

Sharing a story about a youth success in the juvenile system, or a youth involved in the adult jail or prison system

Circulating a petition to the Governor and State Legislator
