In Their Own Words: Wisconsin Health Care Story Series

In July of 2007, WCCF began conducting interviews with several Wisconsin residents who do not have health insurance. You can read their stories by following the links below.

These stories illustrate the need to finish the job of making health care coverage available to everybody in the state. Many of the people interviewed stand to benefit from changes in the BadgerCare Plus program that would remove administrative barriers to enrollment and expand eligibility for certain populations. They would all benefit from the Healthy Wisconsin plan.

The first two of these stories were released to the public on September 20, 2007. A total of ten stories will be published in all.
