Development of the Brain: Zero to Three Years

A FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCE CURRICULUM
Special emphasis for parenting and child care classes. Developed in collaboration with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

A SCIENCE CORE CURRICULUM

  • Explain the function of these structures

  • Describe the development of the brain during early childhood

  • Describe positive and negative influences on the developing brain
